Opening of Paper Tales, Surgery, & Painful recovery.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for my absent, but I had a minor surgery the day before the opening of Paper Tales  which went great GREAT, but the recovery of my minor surgery, was literally a "pain in the Ass" I have been on my back for a week now, and not a happy camper, because I want to be at the store with my buddy Michelle.
Her is some pix from Opening day, I could only stay for a couple of hours, all drugged up. LOL

Girls night out...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, we did, mixed with family and egg hunt.

Here is a few pix from a Girls night out I had the other night with my good friend Tammy, and some of the other moms from other school. We had cocktails and dinner at the Hotel Del Coronado and you all know when a lot of girls get together for cocktails it can only be a fun evening, and that is what we had.

   

24 Hours of OC..

Last weekend Michelle and I went up to OC,  for a little get away trip.
First stop Gliding the Lily where we ran into no other than the sweet Dede , always fun to be around her, and Nancy Jamar the owner of Gliding the Lily is a gem as well, makes the most beautiful bracelets. The store is filled with Vintage millinery, textiles, ribbons and trims, lot's of eyecandy.

The next day we went to "Artist Market" at Paris to the Moon.
I just LOVE that store, and it was all decorated up for Easter. Candice Carpenter was there selling all her yummy goodies, and that day was the Grand Opening of her New On Line store Peacoats and Partyhats "Congrats" Candice...

Sofia & Sassy

I took these pictures of Sofia and our 14 year old cat Sassy the other day, and wanted to share a few.
These two have a very special bond, we got Sassy while we lived in Indonesia when Sofia was just 3, so they have practically grow up together. he is always by her side when she sits down, or sleep right next to her in bed.
His call him Sasboy... and many people thinks he's a girl and pregnant, just because he weigh  21 lbs.  I always hold his ears when they say that so he won't get his feelings hurt, lol .

Happy Valentines Day & CHA update...

Hope everyone is having a great Valentine's Day.
Michelle and I just got home from CHA last night, and WOW what a trip we had.
This trip was very special to us, since this time we were buying for our OWN store "Paper Tales" which  is due to open May 1st. in Point Loma her in San Diego.
We got a lot of great stuff ordered, and saw a lot of  old friends, and met some new ones.

So fun to finally meet Pam Garrison and Charlotte Lyons in person, next we have Rebecca Sower and moi.

Another two of my favorite girls Sandy Redburn and Vickie Chrisman. I was so lucky to have Suzi to walk around with me, while Michelle worked at the Copic booth. We are so lucky to know a girl like her, giving us good tips about what to buy and not. Thanks dear.
